Environmental policy

The purpose of this policy is to establish a standard for how Life Genomics employees act on environmental matters.

• Life Genomics provides laboratory medicine services to public and private healthcare providers. This work involves handling various chemicals, reagents, etc. In addition, normal administrative office activities and the transport of staff and samples take place.
• Through its environmental management system, Life Genomics shall prevent and continually reduce the environmental impact of its operations. The environmental management system forms part of the quality manual. This includes optimising energy and material resources, recycling and minimising substances that affect the environment. Overall and detailed environmental objectives are defined annually.
• All employees are required to comply with the environmental laws and guidelines applicable in the country or region where operations are conducted. All employees are also expected to know and follow this policy. Subcontractors working on behalf of Life Genomics are also covered by this policy.
• The policy and environmental management system shall be documented. Documentation is primarily stored in the Centuri document management software.
• This environmental policy shall be publicly available on the company’s website.
