Göran Brandt

Chairman

Göran Brandt has been chairman of the board since 2015 and has extensive experience of board work in over 20 companies, in many cases as chairman. Educated engineer and market economist with a past as an entrepreneur. Göran was involved in founding Triolab, a company in the diagnostics industry. During his career, Göran has held various management positions, including as business area manager for Bergman & Beving MediTech and Addtech Life Science.

Neven Zoric

Neven Zoric has been a board member since 2020 and is one of the co-founders and former CEO of TATAA Biocenter, from which Life Genomics is a spin-off. Neven has a background in several commercial positions within Thermo Fisher Scientific, including sales and marketing of tests for prenatal screening. Neven is currently Vice President, Commercial Excellence at Vitrolife Group, a world-leading company in products for assisted fertilization (IVF).

Bengt Belfrage

Bengt Belfrage has more than 30 years of experience as CEO and business manager as well as a board member in knowledge-intensive companies, mainly in various parts of life science, both start-ups and commercial international companies, including as CEO of Pharmacia Biotech (currently Cytiva) and CEO of Nova Medical (now Unilabs) and chairman of the board of LightUp Technologies and CanAg Diagnostics. He also has assignments as a representative of major owners in election committees in listed companies.

Artur Aira

Artur Aira is alternate and private investor and one of the founders of Life Genomics. Artur contributes with his large network, industry experience and competence. Artur has held senior positions CEO / GM > 20 years in large companies (Organon, bioMerieux, Addtech Life Science, Addlife) and also on the board of over 35 companies. He is currently involved in a number of start-ups and a board member of commercial companies in the MedTech, Research, Genetics and Diagnostics industry.

Mikael Kubista

Dr. Mikael Kubista (PhD) is a professor at the Department of Biotechnology at the Czech Academy of Sciences and a part-time visiting researcher at the University of Gothenburg. He was the founder and former CEO of TATAA Biocenter, from which Life Genomics was spun off, before it was acquired by US investors. Mikael has a history as an entrepreneur and previously founded the companies LightUp Technologies, which was the first diagnostic company in Europe based on real-time PCR, and MultiD Analysis. He has developed several techniques for the analysis of nucleic acids and was awarded the SKAPA prize in 2002. Mikael is also an advisor to several smaller biotech companies and several diagnostic and pharmaceutical companies.

Docent Lars-Olof Hansson

Medically responsible physician

Doctor in clinical chemistry with extensive experience from five of our Swedish university hospitals, including as director of operations for the Academic Laboratory at the Academic Hospital in Uppsala. Lars-Olof's main interest in clinical chemistry is plasma proteins, markers for inflammatory reactions, endocrinology and tumor markers. Lars-Olof is a member of the IFCC (International Federation of Clinical Chemistry) committee on plasma proteins, a member of the AACC (American Association for Clinical Chemistry) and has been a member of the EGTM (European Group on Tumor Markers).
