Mathias Karlsson is medical doctor in clinical chemistry with a PhD from Karolinska Institutet. Long experience from Swedish healthcare and laboratory medicine. Has, among other things, been chief physician at Clinical Chemistry in Karlstad, sat in the health care management in Region Värmland as head of outpatient care and was also CEO of Equalis AB in Uppsala. Is currently an affiliated researcher at Uppsala University, Chief Medical Officer at the company Capitainer and sits on Labquality's board. Passionate about person-centered care and quality issues.

Docent and specialist in clinical genetics. Former chief physician and operations manager of the Genetic Clinic, University Hospital in Lund.
